Gosmaio

Recently, we had the fortune to go on vacation to Paris, France. One of the condiments we tasted while eating at Cafe Ginger in Paris was Gosmaio. While Gosmaio is NOT a native French condiment, it was so delicious that we made our own batch upon returning to the States.

The recipe is very simple. Roast "some" sesame seeds until they are golden brown. Then mix in "some" salt crystals and coarsely grind them in a blender / food processor. This is a salty concoction!

When finished, a close-up of the Gosmaio might look like this.
Gosmaio is a great addition to soups, dal and even sambar!

Hope all is well!

Bon appetit' :)
